A CLD might be settled through direct negotiations between the parties, through NICA under art. 4 of CLDSA for mediation and voluntary arbitration, through the assistance of trade unions organization and employers' organizations under art. 4 of CLDSA, as a result of strike, through court or other way, different from the ones mentioned. Typically, this is related to the assistance of a superior authority or the dispute is being settled directly after protest actions have been taken place.
